Self-care is so important to help improve overall well-being. I am a Registered Psychologist and hold a Masters of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology and a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology. In our sessions, you will be surrounded by empathy, trust, laughter, sometimes tears and unconditional acceptance/ no judgement. You and I, together will work collaboratively to help you move towards your goals to achieve healthy, positive and meaningful change. I strive to empower my clients by providing and guiding strategies to help identify ways of coping, ways to feel safe, and ways of taking back some control in their lives. I have worked with adults experiencing: depression, anxiety, stress. Other areas of practice include pregnancy/postpartum grief/loss, and parental support.
Therapeutic approaches I use in my practice include: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Activities, Person Centered (Rogerian) Therapy. All these techniques are aimed for you to live your life with you in control!
