Registered Provisional Psychologist

Calgary & Cold Lake

Kathryn is registered as a Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She is extremely passionate about her work and wants to help you explore your life and experiences in a safe and comfortable environment. Kathryn believes that therapy is founded on learning to be vulnerable and also accountable for our own behaviours and wellbeing. Her goal is to help you recognize your strengths, expand your self-awareness and perspective as the foundation for developing better habits and ways of navigating life. Kathryn is incredibly passionate about assisting individuals in working through a variety of issues, but her core interests are anxiety, depression, relationship issues, sexuality, men’s mental health, and personal identity development. Kathryn understands that each client is unique and brings their own strengths and challenges. She strives to create a safe environment where you will work together to find a treatment plan that reflects your needs and wants. While the approach taken depends on you and your needs, she primarily draws upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and Acceptance, Attachment Theory, and the Gottman Method.
